Adventure City, Anaheim, CA - 8.20.09

A few of our friends invited Henry and I out for a day trip to a cool amusement park called Adventure City, in Anaheim, CA; Patricia, her husband Adam, their daughter Jasper, and Celia with her son, Seth. It reminded me of a state fair with those traveling carny rides, but much cleaner and not very crowded. There were great rides that were all toddler appropriate, and with such short lines, they got to go on multiple times. The other catch was that it was very affordable, just about $14 each, mere pocket change compared to a day out at Disney, and far more rewarding, at least for this age group. I highly recommend to any parent who is looking for a low key alternative to the hustle and bustle of Disneyland or Knottsberry Farms.
