I finally got around to putting together Henry's table we bought him for Christmas. Henry approves!

Lowly the Worm in the Apple Car...another belated Christmas present from mom & dad, arrives via ebay.

Mother's group at the Verdugo Hospital in full swing....

Henry and I went to go see the retrospective of Louise Bourgeois at the MOCA. Someone said to me inside the museum, referring to Henry, "This must be blowing his mind right now".

Henry squeezing into a Vespa-esque scaled down version of his Radio Flyer he has at home. It was at Nicole's friend, Jen's new house in Pasadena, which was currently empty, waiting for the movers. She invited a bunch of moms and their children to romp in the spaciousness.

Reclining at the Americana...

This cool playroom is hidden away at the Americana, called the "family room", with the wrap around chalk board and ginormous plastic lego blocks. The changing rooms are pretty sweet too.

West Coast, represent.

01.10.09-Opening night at the Cactus Gallery. My painting, "Yes Bird", sold that night! Yay dad! It's the blue one, hanging in the top right corner, right behind us. For a closer look at my painting, go HERE.

These cute hand crocheted birds were made by Cheryl Cambras, also showing that night at the Cactus Gallery. I couldn't resist, I bought Henry a blue one.

A lovely day at Nibley Park...

Henry's 1st Birthday bash!

Moments before the first guests arrive, Henry takes in a power nap before his big birthday shindig.

Mommy outdid herself with the spread.....this cupcake was homemade, sugar free gingerbread with cream cheese frosting!

Boo Yeah!

Henry finally gets his own "popper", a gift from his BFF Inga. Shortly after this was unveiled, his posse of friends swooped down to share in the glory. Chaos ensued!

Henry unwinds after a momentous year....Trader Jose in tha house!

Henry's first attempt at Tiny Bubbles...

I made Henry a 3-song EP for his birthday, with a little help from my friends in HAIL CITIZEN. If you want to listen, click HERE.

This amazing woodburning portrait of Henry was made by our multi-talented artist/musician friend , Marisa. We were so touched and blown away by the likeness and spirit she captured. It now resides in Henry's room, directly above his changing table.

These last two photos were taken at the 5th Annual Snow Faire at the Rose Scharlin Co-Op Nursery School, Silverlake. They shipped in actual snow, and had a sledding hill. Henry was too small to take part, but we enjoyed hanging out and taking in the sights. Today was also Nicole's birthday!
